Finance starts with understanding the transaction.
Speak directly with Regalis about your property, business or development finance requirement. We consider the purpose, security, capital structure and repayment plan before discussing an appropriate funding route.
REGALIS / BorrowersA clear starting point for your funding
You may be acquiring an asset, refinancing an existing facility, completing a development or funding the next stage of a business. A clear explanation of the situation helps us determine how to assess the requirement.
Some transactions may be considered for direct funding. Others may be better addressed through our finance broking service and an external provider. We explain the role Regalis is taking and who will make the lending decision.
Borrowers can approach us directly or work through a professional broker. The communication arrangements should be agreed early so every party understands the next step.

Choose the relationship before the product
A borrower approaches Regalis with a funding need. Our first task is to understand the outcome: a property purchase, a business requirement, a refinance or a development milestone. The asset offered as security is relevant, but the purpose and repayment plan explain why the facility is needed and how it is expected to end.
A direct funding enquiry and a broking engagement follow different decision paths. For direct funding, the identified funding entity assesses the transaction within its own requirements. When Regalis acts as finance broker, an external lender makes its own decision. An external broker bringing your scenario remains a separate professional participant. These relationships should be clear before detailed work begins.
The process, explained
- 01
Describe the requirement
Start with the amount required, use of funds, timing and source of repayment. Identify the borrower and any broker or adviser involved so communication follows an agreed route from the outset.
- 02
Confirm the funding relationship
The team considers whether the scenario may be assessed for direct funding or through Regalis acting as finance broker. The proposed lender, service provider, costs and responsibilities are explained as the structure develops.
- 03
Review evidence and proposed terms
Detailed assessment can involve financial records, valuation, security review and legal documentation. Read the proposed costs, conditions, payment obligations and exit assumptions together. Raise missing information and changes promptly, before relying on an indicative position.
- 04
Document, settle and monitor
A transaction proceeds only when the relevant decision maker approves it and required conditions are met. After settlement, follow the facility reporting and repayment requirements and discuss material changes before an obligation is missed.
Questions before you proceed
Can I enquire before choosing a product?
Yes. Describe the transaction in ordinary language and identify what you need to achieve. A product label can follow the assessment of purpose, security and repayment rather than defining the enquiry at the beginning.
Does property security establish approval?
No. Security is considered alongside the borrower, existing debt, title position, proposed use of funds and repayment evidence. A property-backed requirement still needs a complete assessment and formal documentation before funds can become available.
Start a considered conversation
A clear initial outline helps identify the next decision and the evidence needed to support it. Include the proposed timing and any complication that could affect the structure. Further information and transaction-specific terms follow through the appropriate assessment process.
