SYDNEY, AUSTRALIAA broader perspective on capital
How to Invest

A clear path from enquiry.

Begin with a conversation about what you are seeking. We will explain the relevant strategies, the information available and the requirements for considering an investment.

A considered approach

Take time to understand the investment.

Requesting information does not commit you to investing. The first stage is to understand the product and its terms, including fees, investment risks, access to capital and any restrictions on participation.

Applications may be made through an eligible individual, company, trust or other approved structure, subject to the relevant product requirements. The team explains the documents required for the structure you intend to use.

Once an application is accepted, the formal documents govern the next steps. Payment instructions and any changes to them should be verified through a known Regalis contact before funds are transferred.

From conversation to an accepted application

  1. 01

    Introduce your objectives

Explain what you are considering, your investment horizon and the structure through which you intend to invest. Identify known cash commitments and existing exposures that would help frame the discussion. The initial enquiry requires no commitment and helps identify the relevant information to request.

  2. 02

    Review and apply

Read the strategy or opportunity documents, including the mandate, risks, fees, capital access arrangements and responsible parties. Involve your advisers where appropriate. Confirm participation requirements and complete the application and identity verification through the advised process. Submission should not be treated as acceptance until confirmation is provided.

  3. 03

    Verify and establish

Follow the formal acceptance process and independently confirm payment instructions before transferring funds. Once the investment is established, confirm how to access records, when updates are provided and whom to contact for help. Retain the final investment documents alongside the name and details of the investing entity.

In practice

Prepare the right information.

Document requirements depend on whether the applicant is an individual, a company, a trust or another permitted structure. Ownership, authorised signatories and identity information may need to be established before an application progresses. Let the team know early if your accountant or another representative will help coordinate the process.

Avoid sending detailed identity records in an unsolicited first email. Start with contact details and a brief description of your enquiry, then use the channel advised for sensitive information. If payment instructions change, pause and verify through independently confirmed contact details. Do not rely solely on the message containing the new instructions or act under unexpected time pressure.

Questions worth discussing

Can my adviser help coordinate the application?

Let us know who you would like involved and their role. Confirm any information-sharing authority and whether they will help prepare documents or receive ongoing records. The applicant remains responsible for the decisions and declarations required under the application.

When should funds be transferred?

Follow the instructions in the formal process for the particular investment. Verify the recipient and account details through an independently confirmed contact before payment. A request for information or an unaccepted application is not itself an instruction to transfer funds.
