Start an referral partner relationship.

Share your professional background and the types of clients you may introduce. Regalis will discuss the referral arrangement, communication approach and any relevant documentation.

The relationship

Establish the terms of a referral relationship

The registration process should be proportionate to a referral relationship. It identifies the parties involved and clarifies what the referral partner will and will not do.

Where a referral concerns investment, finance or private wealth, the team directs it to the relevant service. Different requirements may apply to each type of relationship.

Once arrangements are established, the referral partner receives guidance on making a permitted introduction and accessing any authorised updates. Client documentation remains available only to people with an appropriate role and authority.

Colleagues engaged in a professional conversation

Keep the onboarding proportionate to the role

Introduce yourself, your business and the work you do for clients. Explain which needs you expect to refer, such as an investment discussion, a private wealth conversation or a funding enquiry. The purpose is to establish an appropriate handover, not to ask a professional referrer to take on a finance broker or investment adviser role.

The relationship discussion covers client permission, information sharing, commercial terms and the contact pathway. Where access to the Introducer Portal is appropriate, access arrangements follow the agreed onboarding process. Visibility should reflect the specific introduction and the client's authority. A registration enquiry does not create a referral agreement, approve a client transaction or provide access to confidential records. Identify whether you intend only to refer or whether a separately authorised professional role also needs to be considered.

The process, explained

  1. 01

    Establish the relationship

Introduce your business, professional role and client needs. Discuss the services you intend to provide, the authority you hold and the type of relationship you want to establish with Regalis.

  2. 02

    Agree responsibilities and information handling

Confirm who can communicate with the client, which information can be shared and how documents will be supplied. Discuss any relevant verification, commercial terms and disclosure requirements before relying on the arrangement.

  3. 03

    Prepare an authorised handover

For a live matter, explain the client objective, timing and known complications. Identify the decision being sought and who will manage the application or investment discussion after the introduction.

  4. 04

    Maintain the agreed communication

Updates follow the client authority and the role of each party. Keep business and contact information current, raise changes to the arrangement and use only the access permissions that have been expressly provided.

Questions before you proceed

Should I include client personal information here?

Keep registration focused on your professional relationship with Regalis. A specific client introduction should follow the agreed consent and handover process. Do not include sensitive client records in the general registration message.

When can I access the Introducer Portal?

Access depends on the relationship being established and the permissions agreed. The team can explain the appropriate onboarding and access process. Completing a registration enquiry does not automatically create a portal account or grant client visibility.
